What does this big word enlightenment mean?

What is Enlightenment?

It is considered to be such a brief awakening of the mind that you momentarily put all discriminations and prejudices aside, and you feel as a part of the world around you, as a small piece of the whole Universe.

But unfortunately, many people can be in such an uncommon condition for a shorter period of time. But it does not mean that one cannot achieve constant state of enlightenment. It is quite possible in case if we go on practicing more and more. The only secret is recognizing the glimpses in time.

How To Start The Journey to Enlightenment?

Daily deep meditation is an important step to be enlightened

The second step to awakening is deep meditation. If you want to achieve a state of awakening then you need to meditate on a daily basis. Such regular meditations help us calm our soul and body, as well as mind from where our insight originates.

To practice deep meditation is simpler than you may think. It will take only a few minutes a day:

•First set up daily schedule.

•Every day at the same time sit, or lie down and meditate focusing on nothing but your breathing.

•Breathe slowly, and try to get rid of all thoughts in your mind. The purpose of this procedure is to help your ego become aware of the other things you can feel and sense.
After a while, you will notice that you look at the whole world around you with other eyes – in the light of insight.
