Stress Level Gone – Ways to live with less tensions successfully

Do you find yourself frequently overwhelmed and stressed out? Are you out of energy, out of motivation, and out of ways to manage that stress? When stress has you down, take control! Don’t use a quick fix that produces only short term results. Here is a process that is both and effective. You can stress less now!
Understand why you stress and write it down

Just writing down your stressors – what causes you to be stressed – will alleviate some of your frustration. Truly tackling stress means understanding those stressors. Get pen, paper, or grab your journal if keep one. Write down your feelings. Record how and why you feel overwhelmed, angry, or tired in “if, when” and “I feel, because” statements. Alone and comfortable, take as much time as you need to complete this task. When you identify your stressors you can begin to feel less stressed.

Think of possible alternatives to your actions

While the actions of others may often be a cause of your stress level, it is usually only part of that cause. Now that you know your stressors, work toward eliminating those stressors by brainstorming actions you can change. To avoid feeling overwhelmed, take just five minutes to assess possible changes, and write down what occurs to you. Your mind will help you: you are stressing because you want a solution to this problem, but you have been too overwhelmed to find one. Take only five minutes, and you can find your solution without being frustrated. You are well on the way to stressing less!

Once you have taken five minutes to think of how to change your actions, decide which change or changes will be most effective. You will know when you have selected the right changes because when you visualize that solution you should feel a little more relieved. Select the one that shows you a clear path to less stress.

Take a single step

You may feel overwhelmed again if you try to devise a large plan for eliminating your stress. To stress less right now, pick one step you can take to change the stressor. Choose just one step and take immediate action. You can stress less when you take a quick, single step. Your relief will help you to eliminate the stresses that overwhelmed you.
