Self Improvement Success

Success and Happiness thru Self Improvement

There is a saying that goes…”Be happy for what you have, while working for what you want.”
We must always remember that a happy and successful life begins with a person and ends for others. But what is it in success that would really make us happy?

Why is it that everyone dreams of achieving all their goals in life in order to be successful.

And why do people respond by saying their goal in life is to be successful and have a happy family when asked how do they see themselves years from now?

First let us focus on self improvement and success

It is often defined as the ability of a person to find means and methods of gaining influence and development. Improvement doesn’t start with other people, it starts with you.

Ralph Ranieri defined this as ” When you are all alone in the quiet of your room and you have nothing to think about but yourself, that is the beginning of relationships.

” When you are trying to figure yourself out, you are preparing for improvement.
Relationships and improvement go hand in hand.

Self Improvement Process When we try to analyze our attitudes, emotions and character, this is a method in evaluating who we are in the eyes of others, then we are aiming for self improvement which will start from us and will be reflected on others.

You can’t improve yourself unless you know who you are.
Improvement is a gradual and complicated processs, but it is measurable.
Yes…if an individual is focused on improving, then it can easily be achieved.
Knowing oneself is important for creating a harmonious relationship, and it is important for improvement.

Self improved people who know themselves are not upset when they cannot get along well with certain people but they do their best to relate to everyone in order for self improvement to manifest. They don’t resort to blaming others when human interaction runs into snags.
Success on the other hand is defined by Paul Murray as the degree of attaining one’s goal or the state of achieving progress and development in life.

It reminds me of this story about the great writer Karl Barth when he was asked what the essential message was in all the thick, heavy books he had written, he answered with a smile…” I am successful and I already achieved my goals.”

Many people fail to recognize the importance of self improvement as a catalyst for success. Sometimes we aim to work hard for a living in order to gain success.

But pure hardwork without improving oneself is like a book which is only half read.
Such self acceptance has an effect on your relationships.

It not only gives you added self-confidence, but it makes you much more accepting of others, for success to follow and that if you are successful, you no longer have to be perfect.
Another essential point to remember as you strive to know yourself better and in gaining success is to pay close attention to your interests and your desires.

If a person aims for success but doesn’t even know what his/her interests are, then
it all would be worthless.

I can still remember the time when we are all faced by a dilemma wherein we need to choose
between what we do good which we aren’t really interested in or doing something interesting but we aren’t really good at it.

Always remember if you love something and if you consider it as your passion, then it will be very easy for you to do …just follow your heart, know your desires and nothing can ever go wrong.
