Since the subconscious mind doesn’t recognize negative speech patterns, avoid saying “I’m tired of being exhausted” and instead say, “I’m so relaxed, I feel so positive and optimistic.” If you’re trying to conquer pain you should say, “My ankle feels wonderful, it’s recovering so quickly!” Repeat your chosen statement to yourself as many times as you like and when you are done you can gradually rise from your state of total relaxation. One of the best benefits of self-help hypnosis is the complete lack of tension for the time you have reserved for your session. The health benefits are real, as are the positive changes that will occur in your life.
Self-Help hypnosis can work wonders if done correctly but there are proven techniques you must learn before attempting it. Some people find it doesn’t always work the first time, but with practice and patience you will be rewarded with firm control over your life and the self improvement and self-fulfillment that comes with it.
