Beginners meditation
What should a beginners meditation look like?
Learning to meditate is not as difficult as you might think. But it is very necessary to do all moments properly, just from starting. And to do everything properly, first you need to understand what meditation is. Meditation is the art of learning to calm and isolate oneself from all thoughts that may come to mind. Meditating is merging with the Universe, feeling in the seventh heaven in the true sense of the word.
Beginners meditation
If you are a beginner, do not worry! You can also achieve this. It is simpler that you might think. But for this purpose, you should start from simple meditation techniques. There is no necessity to tire out yourself with various difficult methods. Beginners meditation should be very easy.
For example, you may start from the below given simple and short meditation:
1. Stand, sit or lay down (which is more comfortable for you), closing your eyes.
2. Breathe deeply and slowly through your nose as possible as you can, fully expanding your chest and abdomen.
3. Keep all your attention on your breath, and avoid thinking about anything.
4. Meditate in this way just for five minutes or more.
Within these 5 minutes you will feel something calming and pleasing. Being very effective for beginners, this beginners meditation also strengthens memory and concentration. But in first days of practice, beginners may have some difficulties with clearing their mind from all thoughts.
Of course, it is natural reaction of your mind. But day by day you will be able to focus only on your inner power or breath. Just go on and never quit your daily meditations. Also it is necessary to choose most suitable time and place for beginners meditations.
Vipassana (means to see things as they really are) is also considered to be very helpful for beginners. This is one of India’s most ancient meditation techniques which was rediscovered by Gotama Buddha over 2500 years ago. He taught this method as a universal remedy for universal illnesses. Thanks to Vipassana one can totally eradicate all his/her mental impurities and attain full happiness and freedom. In other words, this meditation technique is a method of self-transformation through self-observation. The main purpose of Vipassana is to focus on the deep connection between mind, soul and body. In fact, it is observation-based journey to the enlightenment.
But this technique of meditation is also an art and in order to properly do it, it is better to meditate with experienced yogis who will teach you all necessary moments.
